Flexible Collaboration Program

Got a product idea? Let's bring it to market together.

Some collaborators want a hands-off setup. Others want to stay deeply involved. LOSTGEAR Lab helps makers in the gear community launch products with the right mix of production, hosting, promotion, and support.

Process

Three steps to launching together

01

Tell Us Your Idea

Reach out and tell us about your idea. We want to hear what you're working on before anything else.

02

We Find the Right Setup

We look at the idea, product fit, and how hands-on you want to be. If it's a match, we'll come back within 7 days with a collaboration direction that makes sense for both sides.

03

Launch It Your Way

Some projects are mostly passive. Others stay creator-led. We can produce, host, promote, advise, or support the rollout together. The split follows the work each side actually takes on.

How we help

Support built around the project

Production, if you want it

Need us to handle 3D printing, assembling, quality control, pack, and ship? We can. Want to keep production on your side? That's possible too.

Reach & marketing

Product photography, social media campaigns, community posts, and launch positioning. We help put the product in front of people who already trust LOSTGEAR.

Flexible collaboration

Passive royalty deal, active co-build, hosted product, or something in between. We shape the setup around who is doing what.

You Keep Ownership

Your IP stays yours. We license the rights we need for the collaboration - we never own your work.

Storefront & brand fit

Your product can live inside the LOSTGEAR world and benefit from the trust, context, and audience we've already built.

Know-how where it matters

Launch strategy, product feedback, positioning, pricing, and iteration. We bring practical experience so you don't have to figure everything out alone.

Real collaboration

It already works.

The HELMLOCKÅ started as one creator's idea. In that case, the collaboration was mostly hands-off for the author: we brought production know-how, added a custom padlock so users can actually lock the helmet in place, and handled the launch. It's live, it's selling, and the author gets paid on every unit. That's one model. Other collaborations can be far more hands-on.

More than a marketplace

Not just a listing. A real collaboration layer.

Some projects need full production. Some only need hosting, marketing, and brand fit. LOSTGEAR Lab is flexible: we can plug your product into our store, audience, and know-how in the way that makes sense for the collaboration.

Typical marketplace

  • Lists your product
  • Processes the payment
  • Leaves strategy, fit, and growth to you

LOSTGEAR Lab can add

  • Production & fulfillment support
  • Quality feedback
  • Product photography
  • Social media & marketing
  • Community reach
  • Store placement inside LOSTGEAR
  • Launch strategy
  • Customer support coordination
  • Iteration with real scene insight
Ambassador Program

Market it. Earn more.

Once your product is live, you can become its biggest advocate. Every collaborator gets a personal promo code - share it with your community, and every sale made through it earns you a higher cut on top of your regular deal. No guesswork, no subjective calls. Your code tracks it automatically.

How to make it work

Share your code

Post about your product on Instagram, TikTok, or community forums and drop your personal promo code. Every sale through it counts.

Drive your community

Tell your followers, friends, and fellow gearheads where to get it. Word of mouth from someone in the scene carries real weight.

Create content around it

Reviews, unboxings, fit pics, event shots - any content that puts the product in front of new eyes and links back to LOSTGEAR with your code.

💡 Your promo code is your proof. Every sale it generates automatically counts toward your bonus cut, agreed upfront and tracked transparently.

Let's talk

Who it's for

Made for creators and makers like you

3D Designers

You've got the file or the concept. If it belongs in the gear world, we want to see it.

Hands-On Makers

Maybe you want us to produce it. Maybe you want to keep production on your side and use LOSTGEAR for launch, reach, and support. Both can work.

Community Creators

You're deep in the kink/gear scene and know what people actually want. If you have the idea, the audience, or both, let's talk.

FAQ

Common questions

How does the revenue split work?

There is no fixed split. It depends on who is doing what: design, production, fulfillment, marketing, community push, and ongoing involvement. A mostly passive setup will look different from a creator-led one. Some collaborations can be close to a royalty model, others can be much more balanced or creator-heavy. We agree on it clearly upfront.

Do I keep ownership of my work?

Yes. Ownership stays with you. Depending on the collaboration, you license us the rights needed to sell, host, promote, or produce the product - nothing more. We formalize this in a clear, straightforward agreement.

What kinds of projects qualify?

Anything that can be 3D printed and serves the gear/kink community - accessories, locks, patches, holders, mounts, wearables, and beyond. That can mean products you want us to produce, or products you want to keep more hands-on while still launching with LOSTGEAR. If it feels like it belongs in our world, we want to hear about it.

How long does the process take?

We review submissions within 7 days. If it's a fit, the first step is defining the collaboration model together. From there, timing depends on whether we're building a full production setup, a hosted product, or a more creator-led launch.

Can I stay involved or produce it myself?

Yes. Absolutely. Some collaborators want a passive deal. Others want to stay involved in design, production, shipping, content, or community work. If you want to produce it yourself and plug into LOSTGEAR for hosting, promotion, positioning, or launch support, that's part of the conversation too.

What does the written agreement cover?

Before anything moves forward, you receive a written agreement that spells out ownership, revenue split, responsibilities, who handles what, how the product is sold or produced, and how either side can end the collaboration. Nothing starts until both sides have signed.

What if it doesn't sell well?

That depends on the setup. If we carry most of the production and rollout, your risk is obviously lower. If the project is more creator-led, we define responsibilities clearly upfront. Either way, we stay honest about performance and decide together whether to improve it, reposition it, or wind it down.

What happens after I submit?

We review every submission ourselves and get back to you within 7 days. If it's a match, we set up a conversation to talk through the idea, your preferred level of involvement, and what kind of collaboration makes sense. No commitment needed at that stage.
