Process
Three steps to getting paid
Share Your Project
Tell us about your project. Share files, a link, or just an idea. We review everything that comes in.
We Review & Connect
We evaluate every submission ourselves — we're gearheads too, so we know what fits and what sells. If it's a match, we'll reach out within 7 days.
Get Paid Monthly
We handle manufacturing, marketing, and sales. You get a cut of every unit sold, paid out every month.
What you get
Everything we handle for you
From filament to finished product — we 3D print, quality-check, and package everything. You never touch a printer.
Product photography, social media campaigns, community posts. Your project gets in front of the right eyes.
Your IP stays yours. We license the rights to produce and sell — we never own your work.
A percentage of every sale, paid monthly. The more it sells, the more you earn. No cap.
No investment needed. We carry all production and marketing costs. Zero financial risk for you.
Instant access to LOSTGEAR's established gear community. Your product lands in front of buyers who get it.
Market it. Earn more.
Once your product is live, you can become its biggest advocate. Every collaborator gets a personal promo code — share it with your community, and every sale made through it earns you a higher cut on top of your regular deal. No guesswork, no subjective calls. Your code tracks it automatically.
How to make it work
Share your code
Post about your product on Instagram, TikTok, or community forums and drop your personal promo code. Every sale through it counts.
Drive your community
Tell your followers, friends, and fellow gearheads where to get it. Word of mouth from someone in the scene carries real weight.
Create content around it
Reviews, unboxings, fit pics, event shots — any content that puts the product in front of new eyes and links back to LOSTGEAR with your code.
💡 Your promo code is your proof. Every sale it generates automatically counts toward your bonus cut — agreed upfront, tracked transparently.
Let's talkReal collaboration
It already works.
The HELMLOCKÅ started as one author's idea. A gear tinkerer had the concept — we brought the know-how and put our own spin on it, adding a custom padlock so users can actually lock the helmet in place. Today it's one of our best-selling products. The author gets paid on every single unit sold, without spending a cent to make it happen.

Who it's for
Made for makers like you
3D Designers
You've got the files. Whether it's Fusion 360, Blender, or Tinkercad — if it prints, it qualifies. Show us what you've built.
Tinkerers & Makers
You solve problems with your hands. If you've built something the community needs, we want to hear about it.
Gear Enthusiasts
You're deep in the kink/gear scene and have ideas no one has produced yet. That creative edge is exactly what we're looking for.
FAQ
Common questions
How does the revenue split work?↓
This is something we take seriously and work out individually with every collaborator. The split depends on the product, your involvement, the vision, and how we can make it work best for both sides. There's no one-size-fits-all number — we talk it through and agree on something fair before anything moves forward. Everything is put in a clear written agreement.
Do I keep ownership of my work?↓
Yes. You license us the rights to produce and sell the product — ownership stays with you. We formalize this in a clear, straightforward agreement. If you ever want to take your project elsewhere, it's yours.
What kinds of projects qualify?↓
Anything that can be 3D printed and serves the gear/kink community — accessories, locks, patches, holders, mounts, wearables, and beyond. We look for things that feel like they genuinely belong in the LOSTGEAR universe, something a customer could discover alongside our other products and not think twice about. If you're unsure, just reach out — we'd rather talk about something unexpected than have you not contact us.
How long does the process take?↓
We review all submissions within 7 days. If we move forward, expect 2–4 weeks to production samples and 4–8 weeks to full launch. We'll keep you in the loop at every step.
Do you modify my product?↓
Sometimes, yes — and that's a good thing. We often add our own spin to make a product more complete or more sellable. With the HELMLOCKÅ for example, we added a custom padlock so users can actually lock it in place. Small refinements for printability or durability are standard. Bigger changes are always a conversation — you stay involved.
Can I reach out if I'm not based locally?↓
Absolutely. We work with makers worldwide. We only need digital files to get started. Once we agree to collaborate, we handle all logistics on our end.
Who's behind this
Two gearheads. One mission.
We're not a company — we're part of the same community you are. We just happen to know how to build, print, and sell things.
